Suzanne Duchamp
The Last Decade

August 23—December 4, 2021

Accompanied by two other works, this exhibit showcases three paintings recently conserved with funds from an IMLS Inspire! Grant, now on display for the first time since their arrival to the museum in the 90s. The three conserved paintings date from the last phase of Suzanne Duchamp’s career. Restored, they illustrate her merit to incorporate elements from different art styles into a personal expression of her reality.

DONNA FERRATO
Feminist Generations

December 2, 2021–March 18, 2022

Since moving to New York in 1979, the internationally recognized activist and photographer Donna Ferrato has had a career that has, documented, engaged, and propelled two generations of the feminist movement. This exhibition provides a survey of her work as a lens through which to see how that movement has evolved, from the first domestic violence shelters to #MeToo, from sex clubs to courtrooms deciding the future of reproductive justice.
